Practice Description

Ms. Kannegenti focuses her practice on intellectual property in trademark prosecution and contested trademark matters. She also assists the firm on patent prosecution and litigation matters. While in law school, Ms. Kannegenti took courses in IP-related subjects including Trademark Prosecution and FDA Law and earned a concurrent Master’s Degree in Public Health. Additionally, she assisted Professor Ryan McConnell in compiling data regarding the diversity of Fortune 500 companies, gathering information concerning the gender and ethnic profiles of board members. As a student extern with The Immunization Partnership, Ms. Kannegenti also helped develop advocacy and policy strategies to increase childhood vaccination rates.

Prior to law school, Ms. Kannegenti cultured stem cells as an undergraduate research assistant. Her research focused on hematopoietic stem cells, and developing a potential cure for severe aplastic anemia. Also as an undergraduate, she was part of a team that investigated the physical symptoms exhibited by adolescents who experience cyber-bullying and the role of disclosure as a moderator of those symptoms.
